Anyone else sick of this situation and the actions or lack of actions being taken. These people are attempting to gain entry into this country but again the BBC have got into the act and now just call them migrants. One of the latest lot are supposed to be from Iran. have the sailed all though the Med and English Channel to get here. No they have crossed Europe to get to the land of milk and honey as we all know.

I think many, many people are fed up with it, MH, but those we elect to do something about it don’t have the cojones to do anything because they live in utter bed-wetting fear of the response of the left-wing, ‘liberal’, woke machine in the media.
The former Australian PM who actually did do something about it over there was, of course, branded the new Hitler by these same media moguls.

The media, especially the Brussels Broadcasting Conspiracy, now seems to regard itself as the official opposition to any government that disagrees with its own political agenda. Which seems basically any party that isn’t masquerading under the brand formerly known as Labour.

If they were truly refugees, they would seek residence in the first non-hostile country that they made footfall in.
They want to come here because they know we are a 'soft touch'.

France will do zero to stop them...in fact I think they help them to get outside of French waters so that they are no longer their responsibility.
Plus the French want us to be as swamped by them as they are.
They should be sent straight back to France and their boats holed so that they cannot be used again.

They look pathetic enough in the boats, but when they get here and are housed in hotels they complain that they do not like what is happening......wasn't it one of these men who went berserk recently?
Stabbed innocent individuals.....but cited mental health issues caused by being in a hotel, with food provided that was not to his taste...not enough money given to him?

Indeed they do, and it would appear that every boat will be seeded with heavily pregnant women and children 'without' parents, (how did these kids manage to travel a continent, afford to pay the fees and not get ripped off on their journey by the unscrupulous people surrounding them if they travelled alone?).

If I was one of these smugglers I would ensure such cargo was on every boat how cruel and heartless would any authority be turning the boats back half way across the channel?

If pregnant women can disregard the safety of their unborn then perhaps when they manage to get asylum the authorities should declare them to be unfit parents and remove the children from their care at birth?

Of course we couldn't be so uncaring and they know it, they have us over a barrel.

Maybe tha answer is to make The UK inhospitable.
No home, no special treatment.....maybe seaborne internment on ships in the channel, before being returned to France.
They tell me that this can't be done as they do not have document that make them the responsibility of France.
But then neither do they have documents that make them the responsibility of the UK.

We have enough of our own people who are homeless without asking for those who neither speak the language or embrace our culture, to become resident.
We know nothing of their backgrounds...they could very easily be sent here to cause harm......someone is going to tell me that it is equally possible that they could find a cure for cancer...but I think not.

The criminal gangs behind this illegal trade have promised those who have paid for this sea trip, that if they get caught and returned to France, they will be allowed to sail again as often as necessary until they reach their goal.

We need to set up floating internment stations....using old ships with basic facilities.
Return these people to France......they are economic migrants, not refugees.....and as Less says if they are bringing/sending very small children then they are inadequate parents...putting their children at risk.

So, watching the news this A.M. two people had been invited to speak one male, one of the opposite sex.

She exclaimed that, 'it just shows how desperate the situation is if heavily pregnant women will risk the journey to cross the channel'.

Desperate? How desperate is it to stay in France and have the child before attempting to cross? The French aren't threatening the lives of these people, it is just an attempt to get sympathy from idiots like her and she's too dumb to realise it!

The man claimed that rather than trying to prevent these 'immigrants' from trying to get here we should be welcoming them into the bosom of our society.

AND where exactly would these additional mouths to feed be placed?

No prizes for the answer to that one are there? We all know they wouldn't be housed in the leafy suburbs of 'middle England'.

Like all those that have come here before, they will be placed in the overcrowded, overstrained and overdue for refurbishing areas of the poorer working class, the people that already struggle to compete with their own neighbours and hardly deserve to have more people in need dumped on them.

But what the hey, the more the merrier, lets not just invite these people in, lets get a list from each one of them of any relatives that might wish to join them, we have infinitely deep pockets and can afford to keep just a few more and as this land disappears under the sea because of the extra weight, we will be remembered as that brave but silly little island that tried to do good for all of humanity but was too stupid to realise there are limits to how many can be here for us to keep afloat both physically and financially.

We do not know who these illegals are.....where they come from, what their motives are.
Over the years we have welcomed those who have gone on to plot against the country that they were desperate to come to......some have made bombs and blown up young innocent girls at a music concert.
That man was a refugee.....given a home, health care and an education and that is how he repaid his debt to this country.....he is not the only one either.

We have been PAYING France to keep these people out of the water....but the French could not care less about these migrants setting sail for the UK.
In fact they quite like to help them because it means they are shifting their problem across the water.

They have asked that we pay an additional 30 million to them for these non existent services.....but why should we stump up when they have no intention of upholding their part of the bargain?

There are a flotilla of small boats, privately owned that's are policing the channel on a voluntary basis, turning these boats back or blocking their way.

It is time something more active was done to send these people back to where they set off from.

These people are NOT refugees.....if they weren't they would seek asylum in the first non hostile country's where they made foot fall.
They come here because they see it as 'cushy'.
We should stop making it cushy for them.

I'm just a barmy old duffer and mathematics were never my strong point but if
it costs (the taxpayer of course) £75'000 a year to house, cloth, feed, educate (though I fear 'indoctrinate' to being entitled to everything is more like it) for a minimum of 5 years (though with many it will be MUCH longer) the total bill for the latest batch alone would be around £375'000'000. With a recession on the doorstep with ultra-optimistic forecasts putting 4 million om the dole - though it is more likely to be 7 million, where is all the money going to come from to pay for it all?

A well off ex-pat who lives in Lens.France.....gave his dinghy to migrants to cross the channel....he wished them luck and waved them off.
He said that he hopes none of us ever have to leave our homes and a war torn country.

Since when was It right to assist migrants to leave a country where they are safe and under no duress?
How many countries where they were safe did the cross to get to France?
I wonder if this man would have been so keen to own this deed if his dinghy had sunk?
Would he have been charged with murder?

This man should be charged with people trafficking, and if he is a British Passport, his passport should be revoked and citizenship cancelled.

Priti Patel has commented that it is a 'tragic loss'. it is something that happens when people try to circumvent the lawful process of immigration.....this boy did not get out of French waters so it really is none of our concern.

Further update on this story.
The lad had a blow up boat and struck it with the shovel(seeing as spade is unacceptable) this cut the inflatable causing it to deflate rapidly.

We simply cannot afford them. I read somewhere the overall cost (housing, teaching, guarding, teaching English, etc etc etc) is around £75'000 a year for around five years. That means the 5000 criminals who have arrived this year so far will cost us £1.8 billion. No wonder landlords are looking happy - they will soon be able to evict their current tenants and replace them with the criminals at a guaranteed rent from the government. They go on about our lack of compassion after the death of a 'child' when the reality is he was actually 22 years of age - though he had fake ID which put his age at 28. He was well dressed and well fed, had his own facebook page and stole the inflatable and paddle from stores. His brother said he didn't feel wanted in France - though his brother still in the home country appeared to be under NO threat of war, violence or persecution. He was nothing more than a chancer, an out and out CRIMINAL that would be a burden to this country for all his life. The media are obsessed with it - while there are countless murders, stabbings thoughout the country they concentrate on these damn criminals.
