Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

Thank you for posting that link Exile….it epitomises all that is wrong with the world.
That is, the Elite can do absolutely anything they wish because….the no fly, no drive, eat dust rules do not apply to them.
Why oh why in times when conference calls are second nature do they need to jet off to some large city….be wined and dined on the finest food….while they tell us we should be eating gruel??
Do they really think we cannot see what they are doing.
All this climate change hoo-ha is just a ploy to make us pay more to live less.
It is to widen the divide between the peasants and the rulers…..and we are being diverted from processing this by other issues….wokery, transgender, white privilege, looting is alright, defund the police…..this is fed to us in the hope that we will take less notice of the rulers, the elite…..and the agenda for the great reset.
I am so glad that I am 74, not 24.

If they really considered that climate change was a real threat, then they would be better looking at controlling the population….oh yes, they are doing that with genetic treatment masquerading as a vaccine…one that will not stop you from getting the virus…or transmitting it.
Sorry for the rant.

i have not been convinced for a long while about this Global Warning, yep its a problem, but i am not at all convinced the blame is on the right door, myself i think it simply a change of weather which has occured for donkeys years and its sod all to do with what these supposed leaders are telling us, that will not go down well with them cos they make millions out of frightening people, also will not go down well with most of the public i reckon cos they have been scared by them also. i personally do not give a stuff cos thats my honest opinion of it. im entitled to that. if people wake up and think back there was an ICE AGE once, not saying its not a problem im saying its the cause im disputing.

We are easy patsies for the politicians to blame Cashy…it is another control freak era technique.
Give the plebs something to scare them….why?
Well, scared people are easier to control and manipulate.
That is what it is all about….oh and making us pay through the snout for heat, light and transport.

Quite like Neil Oliver, remember him doing coast & various History shows years back before Al Beeb got all arsey & PC. Since he's been on GB News he seems to have gotten better, no restraints on his views & opinions. Would happily enjoy going for a pint & a chat with him.

We have had only a day or so of this Cop thing, but I am already fed up of the crap being spouted by these heads of state…..and those who believe themselves to be different to the ‘ man in the street’.
Especially when you read that 400 private jets standby to transport these elite…..and that there is a flotilla of cruise ships in the Clyde to accommodate staff to service these elite.
What kind of Carbon emissions might this be producing….oh, but hold on…it’s OK they are using electric cars to get about….so that makes it alright does it?
I’m not sure that it does.

The ONS has reported a 13% drop in energy usage over the last three decades…..especially the use of fossil fuels.
Maybe this can be accounted for by the decline in manufacturing over that period of time.

add on to that all the windfarms, solar panals, greener this and greener that which we are all indirectly paying for over the last twenty odd years that now seem to have been pointless if more needs to be done to make the jealots happy. then you have the big elephant missing from the room, china. like having a peace treaty without the two combatents being present. now there is less virus fear they had to dig something else up to scare people into being good little citezans and follow the governments advice. afraid this will be another subject where you have to dig deep to find an alternative view and then be called an anti this or the other on top of what you are called already.

I have put my name to this petition….not that I believe any kind of referendum would make a difference….we know what the media is capable of in its brain rinsing techniques….and scarifying tactics.

If all the hot air emitted by the bigwigs at the COP 26 conference could be harnessed, we could have free heating until after the winter.

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

Agree that we won’t be offered any say about this self-flagellation over Green issues (and the massive costs heading our way to pay for it) but politicians do look at, and sometimes fear, public opinion.
And those MPs who currently secretly oppose all this posturing Green Wash (as opposed to sensible, incremental changes that are achievable) will be more than happy to get rid of Johnson and his ilk if they are aware that a good percentage of the voters will back them.
That, for me, was the only point in signing this and other petitions.

Little story doing the rounds is that during the Climate Conference one ‘powerful’ man (I’ll not name and shame him – but the initials JB might give you a clue), when in the presence of Camilla, let out one long ripper of a gas release, commonly known as a fart. Was this a methane explosion – and his contribution to global warming. Is the story true or is it, like so many attendees at the conference, just full of hot air?

monkey hanger 09-11-2021 08:21

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

How strange, all those people attending the conference could not agree on all points raised. Did anyone expect them to? Is anything going to come out of it? Points discussed have already been watered down. I wonder how much the whole kit and caboodle has cost and who pays. This being the 26th Conference of the Parties I had a quick look to see if the previous 25 resolved anything? All I can find is that the attendees agreed something had to be done, and this was the decision reached year after year. Whoopee-do!

As for Australia, it really is a case of ‘don’t do as I do, do as I say’. Coal mining will continue, of course it will - it brings in a lot of money. Australia is, or so I believe from what I have read, the second biggest exporter of coal in the world. Big money earner. Why shoot the cash cow that is giving the most milk, even if it is also emitting a lot of methane.

Margaret Pilkington 13-11-2021 14:41

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

The biggest producers of emissions cannot agree because it would have huge financial impact.
But the UK who produces about 1% of emissions is going to make attempts at going for a zero output by 2050.
They want us to give up gas cooking, gas heating for what are seen as greener options.
Now the UK has an awful lot of old houses…houses from the Victorian era….totally unsuitable for these homes to use heat exchangers….nor are these houses suitable for having electric power points for charging electric vehicles.
Then there are the high rise flats…..again not suitable for these eco solutions.
But yet, the governments will pursue these goals….but the people who will pay the cost of this will be us…so prepare to have your pockets picked.

Quite agree, but everyone seems to avoid this massive "Herd of Nelliphants" in the room rather conspicuously. Can't feed them, don't breed them, the state (your average put upon taxpayer) should not have to foot the bill for others frolics & fecundity.

I does appear that there are some out there that tend to make a living out of permanently whelping or being enceinte.

Margaret Pilkington 14-11-2021 09:31

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

Don’t worry…. the population issue is being addressed by Bill Gates and his cohorts…who think that vaccinating children in third world countries is a better option than digging wells to provide clean water.

The vaccinations offered by Gavi are for the diseases caused by dirty water.

And maybe vaccinating children all over the world is the way to ensure that there is less breeding in the future.
I know that this view will be seen by some as being contentious….but if it is happening….how do you prove twenty years down the line, that it was vaccine damage and not the result of global climate change…micro plastics in everything we come into contact with.

Yes…that is right….you can’t.

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

Enceinte eh, I couldn't even find the word it in my Collins Senior Dictionary but Google came to the rescue, so for all those not quite as educated as Dave, one meaning is "Archaic".
Be careful with the permanently whelping Dave, the thought police are watching.

An interesting point you raise there Ma, Mr.Gates seems to be rather prolific in his portfolio for someone who made their vast wealth initially from a computer operating system. Philanthropist or Social engineer? It is a very thin line that divides the two positions.

Some of the comments are just as interesting as the article….and the article is saying what we have been saying since the start of this farce.
It is just a licence to pick our pockets, to impose yet more controls and impoverish the little people.
The elites are always going to be able to do what they want because they think rules only apply to the plebs.

These days they do not teach students HOW to think, they teach them what to think….that is the easy option.

mind you to a certain extent we were also taught like that in the 50,s and 60,s. read pages 100 to 132 then at the end of the lesson just give the homework out. whilst we were doing that sir or miss were marking some other classes work. then you were expected to be religeous and a lover of the monarchy. all thats been done in the last few years is to alter history and literature choices to put a far left slant on education which unfortunetly seems to be lapped up more easily than we did in our days.

Margaret Pilkington 18-11-2021 14:50

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

Maybe we were, but since then I continued my education(I am still learning) and when someone wants me to believe something, I ask myself if they have their own agenda.
I also research things that interest me….so I do not take things on face value.
You cannot be forced into a thought process if you do not want to be.

Re: Hypercrits Cop-Out

yes, you learn something new nearly every single day. its so easy to find information now so therefore younger people should be much better informed with a wider outlook on all issues. however the facts seem that is wrong as most seem to follow a certain political lefty stance on subjects which are hardly what many who support the main left wing parties follow themselves.
