No it isn't, years ago Roy promised that because AccyWeb was his first website he would keep it going and with the Stanley site attached and so popular it's future is secure.

All that said MH, I think you'll find as you mentioned in another post, most folk are along the same lines on here, so I do think the humour will be accepted by those who bother to look rather than someone going off on one. ;)

I’d love to know where the idea AccyWeb was about to disappear came from it’s another of those internet mysteries like mobile phones will be compulsory or there are groups of businessmen all stroking their white pussies and planning to take over the world (why would they want to? All that responsibility of finding cures for global warming and cancerous diseases!)

Cashy it is great that people support their local clubs, in whatever sport this may be, but sometimes there are as many as eight threads alive on this site and not one of them on any other subject but dear old Stanley. I know you will appreciate that this is frustrating for those who are not football inclined and want to ‘talk’ about other things – whether trivial or world affairs.

It doesn’t seem long since many varied subjects were discussed, debated, and even if people agreed about them it didn’t matter as it is good to know what others think. During the time I am thinking about I don’t remember many postings about football – if any were there they would have taken their place with the other subjects and not overtaken them.

For some reason many of the regular contributors seem to have disappeared, apart from a few of the faithfuls – and even if they are now sharing their comments on other sites instead it is disappointing that they can’t also share them on this one as well.

Yes, Less….that is because on this forum we are allowed to have different opinions.
Sometimes you are patronising, sometimes you are carmudgeonly, sometimes you are funny……

but these are MY opinions only…..and you neither need to like them or subscribe to them…..you are able to have your own opinions….
but don’t leave it too long as the thought police are coming and soon all our opinions will be sanitised so that we do not offend or upset anyone.
