No Park.......If there was only apple pie for dessert, I would pass.......and I have been known to miss a main course for dessert.......but I don't care for apple pie at all. Would rather have rice pudding......home made, with a lovely crusty brown top.....dollop of raspberry jam...mmmmmmmmmmmmm! I do like the fancier stuff too.
So you can have my slice of the pie!

Yeah, that and spotted dick.....steamed in the rag. They don't make stuff like that anymore. I do still make my own rice pudd, and very occasionally jam roly poly..... but have to watch the waistline these days.

Oh yes the "New Age" shops for definite, followed a close second by "Lush" and "Pink" - then for something completely different freshly baked bread, cinnamon, vanilla and my favourite floral smells, honeysuckle and freesia. Why doesn't freesia seem to smell as good these days though?

I love the smell of asphalt, fabric softener, boxes of chocs, grass, and baby powder.

I love honeysuckle; you can't beat a walk down a country lane on a late summer evening. As for freesia there’s a bunch mixed with white roses to my left as I write and they small perfect together. The problem with freesia as with most cut flowers today is they loose there scent when their forced and because we want them all year round we lose out.

I can't believe that only WestEnder has touched on the most beautiful smell in the U.K.! Horse Manure!.........Well, pigs actually to be precise,:D

Further down south, the fields are annually coated in a lovely layer of well rotted sh** to encourage the cereal crops to grow.

Some years ago, the farmers played about with processed dung that didn't have that distinctive "ammonia" smell but have recently reverted back to the "proper" stuff!

For those that were brought up in the countryside, it was better that the best french perfume (unless you tried putting it behind your ears!) It was a sight to see the "townies" cringe as those lovely smells invaded their nostrils:rolleyes:

What About Years Ago When Mums Used To Hold Their Kids Over The Tar Boiler When The Council Were Pouring Tar Between The Cobble Sets. That Smell Was Supposed To Be Good For The Chest.......
