WOMEN I will never understand!!!!!!!!!!
 
Why do I do wrong, (or appear too). Today I took my wife shopping, came home. helped her to put everything away and made a brew. This afternoon she went to attend to her disabled mother, fine, I sometimes go wuth her and help , and I don't mind at all. When she arrived home I told her to go and have a bath and relax for a while and meanwhile I would prepare dinner. When she returned after about 90 mins I served her with. Grilled wild Alaskan salmon marinated in oil with garlic lemon and freshly ground black pepper. This I servsd with my own savoury rice baked garlic mushroomms and cherry tomatoes. Alongside was a fresh green salad with home made blue cheese dressing. The whole thing was accompanied by fresh crusty bread, a bottle of Pinot Grigio (white) suitaqbly chilled, and a bottle of Pinotage Shiraz at room temperature. The chrystal wine glasses were out and all she had to do was sit and enjoy. She did, not a thing was left. I had cleared and cleaned the kitc hen and I even cleared the table and stacked everything in the dishwasher. I poured her a furthur glass of wine and seved itto her in the lounge whilst she watched TV. NOW AFTER A FEW MINUTES SHE WENT INTO THE KICHEN AND FOUND I HAD NOT WASHED THE GRILL PAN. I RECIEVED SUCH A BO----KING YOU WOULD THINK I HAD COME HOME PI--ED WITH LIPSTICK ON MY COLLAR. I despair I will never understand he workings of the female mind. DO YOU ??????????????????????????

he he he wasn't it up the Coppice in the shelter that you hid last time chav :D ? Accrington women are only scrubbers in the sense that we have to clean up after you lazy men :p !!

Don't get me wrong girls i am not blowing a trumpet, I love cooking and enjoy being left to get on with it. I would rather pour her a gin and tonic and send her out of the kitchen and serve her with a surprise. I just did not expect tonights roasting.

Shiny gem was female last time I saw her Doug.

Going back to the washing up thing I don't know if this is a peculiarity on my part but I'm funny about the washing up. I have an order in which things are washed and if pans are washed up before cups it seems all wrong to me. Also I only put things of the same kind in the dish together, so all the cups go in first and only after they are finished do small plates go in, then dishes or dinner plates, followed by pans etc. I'd never be able to cope with a dish washer.

i must admit i hate it when bubbles are left on the washing up

i am a strong believer in rinsig the pots and plates etc before drying i guess ime paranoid i will be able to taste soap in my next meal

and before anyone says it yes i am aware my mouth occasionaly could do with washing out with soap lol

Dish washers are for pussies, Get you hands wet, you should wash your pots and pans separately. Always rinse with clean warm water and leave to drain. Never dry with a tea towel. Stack them well or use a stainless steal pot rack and leave to air dry.

Oh I always rinse too because the soapy bubbles don't run off and I do leave them to drain rather than dry with a cloth because as Doug says this is the most hygienic way. The bubbles would dry on the plates and I'm sure we'd taste them, especially in cups.
