Autumn come early?

Ah well today is rather miserable feels more like September than August, my trees in the back have got that autumn tinge, going yellow/brown & already falling off the trees!!

What happened to the Indian summer we was quoted to have by the metcheck??? Looks as winters soon upon us

Re: Autumn come early?

I want to roast a few more weeks in the sun before Autumn comes proper. Come back heatwave, please.

They are advertising the Autumn schedules on tv, and my heather is flowering so sadly Autumn is not too far away.

Re: Autumn come early?

I liked sitting in my front garden wearing my speedos, or as my neighbour's cheeky son called them my budgie catchers. I told him it wasn't a budgie it was a cockatoo.

Perhaps the sun vanishing is God's way of telling me I shouldn't really sit on public view in my speedos, especially as when I was sat with my legs up reading my book they sort of disappeared.

I'd love to send you guys the 90s temps that we continue to have over here, plus a major lack of rain. It's been the dickens gettin' a fall vegetable crop to germinate! Plus it's time to start gathering wood for the winter. It's somewhat bothersome using a chainsaw when it so hot and sticky . . . oops sorry, it's another one of those early afternoon babble session from "the Kidd" from the states! s o r r y it's the medications I'm sure of it!
