What sort of an idiot does this:

Fair enough kill yourself, but it could have caused so many more injuries or even deaths. I saw him being interviewed outside court on the lunchtime news, and the guy could barely string a sentence together, he sounded like a two year old trying to talk!!! I don't think most 8 year olds would find this very clever, let alone 21 year olds! The CCTV footage is frightening! There is literally seconds to spare before the train comes! One word: LOOSER!

I used to work with a woman whose husband was a train driver and he had had someone commit suicide by standing in front of his train. It happened more than 20 years before and he still had nightmares about it. Apparently all real suicides always turn and look at the driver as the train hits them.

The driver of the train in this case must have been very badly shaken, poor man.

Yes poor driver, ok if you are all willing then so be it you deserve all you get.

I do feel for the driver though, what goes through his/her mind I obviously don't know, but poor person thats an understatment!

When considering that person on the tracks is looking at me whilst the train is going at then knowing I might not be able to do anything about it, that does not bear thinking about.

it showed the guy on tv tonight, the driver thought he'd hit the prat,and was traumatised, hope he gets some bird in january, he said he was sorry n would not do it again, didn't wash with me, there was a little smirk in the corner of his gob.

Justice would have been for him to have tripped, and lost the lower part of one or both legs, or, for the driver to kick ten bells out of him for frightening him half to death. Moron, hope he gets 5 years as a warning to others.

never understood why trains are required to stop for these morons playing on the railroad tracks , every 5yr old knows it's a no no

in my opinion its just roadkill like a dog or a cat

I doubt any decent human being could kill another person, albeit without any intent to do so, and just carry on driving the train as though they'd run over a rabbit. We're not psychologically built that way - thank God.

Shame the train wasnt able to speed up a bit quicker. People like that deserve to be hit by the train. Never knew it was a criminal offence to obstruct a train though.
