They're probably offloading the Cadbury surplus stock. In six months time it will be "Kraft Creme Cheese Eggs" that will be on sale.

In my local Sainsbury's the hot cross buns were on sale in first few days of January! Makes me sick really. I think seasonal food should be eaten at the time of year, not months a head, it's supermarkets grabbing all the money they can get!

The cold snowey weather had the effect of extending the Christmas mood a bit further than normal I think.

It used to be said that curry dishes were invented to mask the flavour of rotting meats, if that is the case surely we should only eat it in the hot period of our summer instead of all year around as we do now, bring back the old seasonal traditions.

(By the way, I do believe the rotting meat idea is more of an urban myth rather than a 'real' fact, so, if you own a curry house please don't post any death threat's I'm only kidding).
