Christmas Tree Recycling Collection 2009

Below are the dates for 2009 Christmas Tree collection for recycling. Put them where you normally put your grey bin by 7.30am

Great Harwood Tuesday 6 January
Rishton Wednesday 7 January
Oswadtwistle & Knuzden Thursday 8 January
Clayton-le-Moors & Altham Friday 9 January
Baxenden & Huncoat Monday 12 January
Church & Belthorn Tuesday 13 January
Springhill, Ferngore & Green Haworth Wednesday 14 January
Accrington Thursday 15 January

I am surprised they are doing this, as the recycling plants are full of stuff which isnt being bought!

lol have you ever seen a second hand christmas tree for sale?

They mash them up and then compost them.

I saw one of those big mashers in action when the trees on Heron Way were pruned recently - awsome.
There were tree sections which would have been good yule logs - over 6" thick - which shredded with ease
