Injured Cat & Dog

This morning the Accy Stanley walkers witnessed a very young cat hit by a car on Manchester Road, near the Victoria Pub.

Further up the road, near the speed camera near Hollands Pies, they found a Staffie dog that looks like it has been shot in the head.

If anyone has any further information on these animals please get in touch. If anyone is missing their pet this morning please send me a message.

We took both animals to the RSPA centre, and they have been taken to Clitheroe and are on drips to stabllise them.

They must belong to someone, so please if you know someone with a very young cat and someone with a staffie dog please ask them if they are ok. Both animals we think were seperate incidents on Manchester Road at 0800 this morning.

Re: Dog found ....

Just seen your message - posted a new topic on it, apologies. If anyone knows whose this dog is then please get in touch. He is at Clitheroe on a drip. The cat that was found earlier on has two broken legs and is also on a drip.

Re: Dog found ....

I just hope that if they are not reunited with their owners they don't put them both down.
Rang again and they are both stable but noone has come forward to claim them.
