Re: Grandparents and Contracts???

This is a brilliant idea and if your a grand parent its a win win situation. When we babysit we often get a call after ten minutes off the parents. How are they doing? Despite me pointing out that in all the years of looking after and raising our own children and babysitting my wife and I failed to drop any, allow them to go missing especially in Portugal, start fires, contract infectious diseases etc etc. in fact we did a bloody good job. A contract would allow us to sue the parent (our kids) for lets say dropping the kids off not ready for bed, failing to pack matching jim jams, bring it on I say!!! Of course you do realise this is a conspiracy theory hatched in a university student union between the social studies department and the law department. When qualified the social bods ( that's what you are before your an expert) draft some rubbish like this then when someone gets sued the law bods ( always bods because they are never experts) make money off the no win no fee thing which they then kick back some to the social expert!!!And on a final note I currently have claims running on a no win no fee basis against my kids for things such as, taking the batteries from the TV remotes, losing the Tv remotes, playing bad music very loud, and knowing everything without the necessary experience!!!

Re: Grandparents and Contracts???

Not sure about a contract but looking at some of the future Grandparent walking round Accy I think a licence should be required.
