Perhaps we should just have a what's in the Daily Mail today thread.

Then we could all just post 'How terrible the world is', and 'Who do they think they are?'...and of course the old favourite 'It's political correctness gone mad!'

Maybe I'm wrong; but I interpreted the post to "mean" that certain of the news media strive to increase readership and advertising revenue when, to use a twisted version of an old standard, they "accentuate the negative, play down the stuff that's positive." I don't believe that one can define a great country and it's time tested (sorry about the cliche) institutions by highlighting what folks see as weaknesses in the system, weaknesses which occur against a background of strength and stability. Problems are bound to happen in any complex political and social system, but they shouldn't be allowed to define the system.

you would hope so wouldnt you but theres been previous cases like this and there will probbaly be many more.As soon as the first incident happens quick action should be taken to ensure it dosnt happen again wether it be instantly dismissing the person who made the decision not to prosecute or pushing a new law through quickly so that it is in teh interest to prosecute people like this

It becomes even more relevant when you see some of the crimes that are prosecuted to the full extent of the law

tell me about it there are stiffer penalties for downloading music than what there are for abusing children but children cant put pressure on govenments and theres no money to be made out of protecting children.I read somewhere that there is more legislation in place protecting copyright than what there is for the protection of children
