Jobsworths

School netball team banned from national competition over TEN PENCE debt it wasn't told about | Mail Online

This story is a joke, these jobsworths really need sacking, feel sorry for those girls who have put the training and effort to get to the finals, then told there banned over a ten pence underpayment.

Re: Jobsworths

Seems a bit harsh.

I was once coming home from school just after some buses had started running up Roegreave Rd. & down Trinity St. Thinking it was the normal bus I paid to the Black Dog but when the bus turned into Roegreave Rd. I stayed on till the turnaround. An inspector on the bus said I would have to pay another tuppence but I had no more money on me so he took my name and address. The following day after I'd got home from school he came to our house to collect the tuppence. I bet he could hear me laughing as he walked away down the street - the bus he came on had left and he would have to walk down to the Black Dog to catch another (and it was raining)!
