More Reasons Not To Catch A Bus

BUS fares in East Lancashire are to go up, bosses have announced.
Lancashire United said the three per cent hike would add an average of 10p onto a single journey, and 20p onto a return.

Wonder how much this bloke gets paid to do his research ?

“If a bus is full of passengers paying only the children’s fare that service is likely to be losing money and that is unsustainable. On many routes space on the bus is being filled by children’s ticket holders and full fare paying passengers are unable to get on.”
He said other types of public transport often offered no child discount.

We've been at the shop for about 15 months. The stop outside our shop is one of the busiest and often has long queues, yet I have never seen a bus set off full to capacity yet, everybody gets on. Does anybody here have trouble getting on a bus because they are full

sometimes when i get on the bus on Penny Street in Blackburn it is already full, a lot of people get on at the Boulevard, it is often standing room only

what pee's me off about Transdev is...it costs me £1.20 to get to Blackburn from Intack and £2.30 for a return, saving only 10p, i think it's pathetic, Transdev know they can charge whatever they want because they have no rivals as such....THAT annoys me

use em a few times a week, at different times, never got on a full un yet! saying that i do avoid brat times.
