Neighbour mugged on park street.

My neighbour who is an elderly lady has been mugged in the last 30 mins(time of writing 5.49PM Sat 6th June) on park street at the bottom of stanley street/bold street.

She says it was a male in black hoody, baseball cap and tracksuit bottoms aged 16-18 however she wasn't sure.

They stole a grey "roy cropper" style bag which had her purse and keys in it and it looks like her arm is broken.

If you live in the area or know anyone in the area could you check your backyards etc to see if the bag has been thrown over.

Thanks

What a pathetic, cowardly thing to do. That is not a human being but the scum of the earth.

Its still the same old store, what happens if they do catch scum like this, next to nothing, you get the "prisons not the answer" brigade chipping in, they get find and given community orders which they ignore, the justice systems a joke

I live in this area and it's getting worse and worse, I know from my job that there are some very unsavoury characters living around here, I personally carry a "deterrent " spray and lock all doors all the time.

Unfortunately its the sign of the times Lindsay, when I was young people could go out shopping leave their doors unlocked safe in the knowledge that their home and belongings would be intact on their return, these days your property isn't safe even when your in with all the doors locked
