Pest Control - environmental health

They used to charge a nominal fee for the service but now its FREE, tho explains the busyness of the service means will have to put up with my squatters for another week, but hey ho you do get something for your council tax now as quoted on phone lol

Just a note for those like me who used to pay for it previously which was a pleasant surprise when asking how much

now that depends on how much damage they are doing and what type of bees, we called out the council to deal with our bees, we were told that they were masonary bees and they dont do much damage so the council wont do anything, how to tell if your bee is a masonary bee is they dont have a sting

I've never heard of masonry bees. Does that mean they live in your walls?

they lay their eggs in small holes in walls(usually where holes have been drilled) then they close them up with paper and grass and whatever they can find, i thought we had alot but when the council came out i was told that they come and go all the time to find bits to close in the holes where the eggs have been laid, but i dont know where they actually live

Free Pest Control from HBC, what a refreshing idea. Anyone fancy ringing up and getting them to fumigate Scaitcliffe House?
