satellite dishes

Talking to a councillor on friday i was told that planning permission was needed to install a satellte dish by my reckoning that makes most of the
ones allready up illegal

New one on me. I had a freesat installed last year and the installer never mentioned anything about that.

What size of dish do you want to install?
From what I remember you can install a dish up to 1m across without needing planning permission. It used to be 90cm but I am sure it changed a few years ago to 1m

Well by what ive been told, they seem to be ignoring planning permission fer Dormers on terraces, so can't see em making a big deal outa this.
