Something to consider....
Concerned as we are about the poverty of the retail offering in our beloved neck of the woods, you might want to consider what this columnist has to say about the relentless march of the Supermarket.
Supermarkets are selling us out | India Knight - Times Online OK, India Knight is a metropolitan mother and as such her lifestyle is very different to the vast majority of people who live in Hyndburn, but I do think that she has some very pertinent things say about Supermarkets, their supposed benefits and who really profits by them. I think that the council needs to think very clearly before giving the go-ahead for the proposed Tesco development.
