Unusual way of delivering ...

Thursday night while i was waiting for a lift to go to a meeting i saw a van pull up on my street. Nowt unusual about that. Well he was delivering the new phone book and he had quite an unusual way of delivering his load. Now he must have seen me come out of my house and so mine was not delivered this way. He got out of the van and went and posted one in the house opposite me, came back up the path, walked along the street to the next house, took 2 steps into the road and then threw the phone book into my next door neighbours .. just over the fence, then walked down the path and posted one through the letter box, walked back up the path, down the street a bit, 2 steps into the road and chucked it into next door but 1's drive, and carried on doing this down the street - one half of the street got it delivered through the letter box - the other half got it chucked into their garden or driveway!!! Mine was through the letterbox when i got home. Like i said he must have seen me come out of my house!!! At least it was wrapped in plastic ..

By the way the van was white with no firms name on it ..

Stuff like that usually is 'delivered' in a heap on the communal staircase bottom step, but this time it actually got pushed through letterboxes.
When glossy brochures are left on steps there is a risk of it causing a slip and/or fall, and I sometimes wonder who would be sued if it happened.
