A bit of hydrochloric acid is very effective - guaranteed not to see any dirt on your screen, ever!

i use a mixture that i make up myself, its 1/3 fabric softener, mixed with 2/3 water, put on a damp (not wet ) cloth, clean screen & keyboard, buff with clean lint free cloth works a treat.

I have an old bar towel from the Stag, and if there is a drop whisky left over from the night before, it works a treat

Hehehe, I've had this computer for 4 years and never once cleaned the screen. I am hanging my head in shame.......
