I do. I've mentioned in other posts and in my blog, Accy Web has literally changed my life for the better.

Without being mawkish, l returned back here and my life had changed within a month when l was diagnosed with Parkinson's aged 39, and was told l would never work again.

Finding this site in the middle of a dark sleepless night back in March was one of the best things l have ever done. Being unable to physically hold a pen and write my name, it's given me a voice. I have also met some great people and made friends with people l wouldn't have come into contact with.

The monthly meets, plus the inbetween meets, have given me an independant social life.

I've laughed so much in the chatroom, l'm worried about incontinence!

I even had a romantic liason through Accy Web in the last week, but l better not even go there.

By whom? And why?

The Lancashire people, particularly in the "cotton belt", have always taken everything that's been thrown at them for the last couple of centuries and still come up smiling. I don't see any difference nowadays. Backbone is the right word.

Anyone further south than Warrington and further east than Barnoldswick.

Why have we not made more of the fact that the actual geograpical centre of the United Kingdom is not many miles away from us in Downham Village? Nor indeed the fact that were it not for the industry of our forebears, the effete south would not have a pot to p*ss in!

Where did you pick-up this little gem of wisdom?

Whilst studying at London's Courtauld Institute?

Or that time you 'meet' Rudolph Nuryev, again in the south if my memory of our conversation serves me well?

'Premo'?

What on earth is that?

I found premolar, in the dictionary, but that can't be right, because you are toothLESS.

Rindy the 'prima' of Accy Web.

Face of an Angel, memory of elephantine proportions.
