woodchip
Does anyone know anyone who can point me in the direction of free woodchip that I can use for the pathways on an allottment, I know that some tree surgeons are having to pay to take theirs to landfill.
Last year someone was tipping their woodchip on the car park next to the Peel Park bowling green, whether this was lawful or not I don't know but it certainly came in handy; this year up to now there has not been any. I have contacted Hyndburn Council but they say that they are using their stocks on their own parks and gardens. I have my own trailer so picking it up is no problem.
