doormen are now by law are supposed to have an sia badge which they have to do a course on conflict management and how to deal with situations properly I have a door supervisor badge myself and because im a girl and not a thug i cant get a job in security even though ive been taught how to handle situations and have been granted the badge to get the badge u also have to have no criminal record I told the police in accy about door men in accy not having an sia badge and they said so what! I paid nearly £400 to get mine im really mad i sujest you find out if the thug in question had a badge or not because i doubt it acting like that, for that behaviour he should have his badge taken off him. The security industry is supposed to be changeing but i dont see it myself if women can work as police officers why cant i work as a security guard i dont want to work in a club i only want to be a retail security officer and i cant find a job anywhere.

these guys need re assesing they are nothing but cowardly bullies working in groups ..my son has now been and got his own doormans license and has payed a fortune for it ,and yes they are supposed to abide by rules and regulations or they could be in serious trouble..
