Lancashire Food Festival

As the Events Manager for Leisure in Hyndburn I would like to draw your attention to this very successful yearly event. The Lancashire Food Festival is now in its 11th year and goes from strength to strength each year. Taking place on the 5 and 6 April at Accrington Town Hall it showcases food and drink from Lancashire and beyond. This year we have managed to secure BBC'S The Hairy Bikers for the opening of the event on the Saturday. They will be around to answer questions and will also be in the cookery theatre. It only costs £1 to enter and is open from 10am-3.30pm both days. So come along and tempt your tastebuds!
Lancashire Food Festival - Much more than Black Pudding and Hot-Pot!.

I was at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC last year and met the Hairy Bikers, plus loads of other foody celebrities. There was loads of stuff to sample and although I wouldn't expect this one to be on the same scale, I'll definitely be popping along.

If it's half as good as the West Pennine Food Festival (held annually in Darwen and the surrounding villages), then it'll be worth a visit.

You are correct it is £1 entry fee and you do get loads of free samples. See you there!:)

Only fair to give this a lift back up ! I will be going Saturday morning , hoping to pick some ostrich pate up, it's great ! I really enjoy this event and one of my mates has a stall on this year, Reedy's Naturally. We should try and support this event ( and obviously hoover up all the free samples !)
See you there !:dancedog:
