That was without the hair. For anyone who has read this thread and is still under any illusion that I may look like a normal person in this play - please think again. The picture in the paper did not do justice to the full effect - I didn't have the wig on!!!!!!

The wig, or should I say Beryl, as it clearly has a life of its own and should really be credited as such in the programme, is a cross between Lily Savage's barnet and the Dulux dog - I'm sure we all remember him.

The boots, again something not shown in the paper, add about 9" to my height (honestly!!!!!) - which in real terms means that one of the male cast who is the same height as me is now on direct eye level with something other than my eyes! :eek:

Sadly, I can't get to see this show. I'm gutted as, like all Ossy Players productions, it sounds great.

You looked fab in the paper last week so please do put up a pic of you in full costume. :)

Congratulations to all the cast and, of course, Wendy Duggan the Director. Was very enjoyable .. shame you can't get there Lilly.
