Well, I was just wondering if the forecast is really good is there anywhere that has a big beer garden?....it does'nt have to be the Stag, you know (altough I know it's mine and a few other's local on here).....is'nt there also the Great Harwood Show that weekend & there's quite a few from Harwood on here. Maybe a pub in Harwood with a beer garden...we could see the horses then have a few jars? I'm just thinking out loud ..........

The only trouble is if it's a nice weekend then everyone has the same idea...lets stick with the Stag for this one and maybe think about something different when we're there..my own opinion now is that it would be nice to alternate between a regular pub (i.e.Stag) and a 'guest' pub/club..

To be honest I don't mind going over to accy where the majority of members come from.
I'm happy with the Stag.

yes so do we all but if its anthing like the xmas do which mick organised & may i say did great , it was a let down for him, that is why we meet in the stag, then if needed or wanted wots to stop us moving on, it all depends on who turns up,//// so please all you accy webbers get your skates on lets have some feed back / it is after all a site for all to have there say, within moderation please, thank you :wave:

it was a great meeting yesterday, i got more info on computers than the other meetings very interesting, the meal in mote christos was good too rounded the nite off well i thought, thanks to all who turned up as i said good day again,:D

Think I may have jumped the gun with the feeling fine post earlier. There's a horrendous pain where my liver used to be, I'm starving hungry but looking at food is making me feel sick, I can't stand bright light and am seriously considering seeking out some sort of medical attention. If anyone has any of the following items please feel free call round.

Paracetamol, Gaviscon, Resolve, a bucket, a pint of strongbow and a kebab.

Everything was fine and dandy at 6am, but i'm now having a relapse, my constitution is currently falling faster than a knackered lift. I'm just waiting for the DTs to kick in again - i hope they aren't as violent as yesterday. How i managed to drink that first pint, one will never know. :rolleyes:
There's only one cure i know to cure this affliction, ok apart from more drink, take Oscar-lummox for a walk over t'Coppice and blow the cobwebs away.

well its 1430 now and ive just got up. feeling a little worse for wear but breathing at least. i had a cracking night i think all of you are a real good laugh without exception and im gonna try and make the next meeting. i spent just shy of £150 hough. ouch.

but hey it was worth it. if you want to see a cracking version of a drunken post read what i wrote when i got back in. itsin anything goes and its called a cracking sunday night out. i think. ive not read it yet but wingy has informed me its quite amusing. apparently i was waffling big style. speak to you all soon.

Tried the Coppice this morning Sparky, it didn't work. Woke up at 4am bursting with energy, got up did a full weeks worth of housework, car cleaning, dog walking etc. Am now decomposing on the settee feel like poo... :o

The meal was excellent!!!!
They do a steak to die for and i'm a fussy eater.
I crawled into bed in the we small hours and was up early.

And it is of course, the oldest pub in Hyndburn....first records are of a legal meeting in 1590 over a land dispute, although it probalbly goes back a few years before that.
