I couldn't comment as I wasn't there but someone wrote to the Observer last year suggesting that it was less than well organized and a firework hit her child's buggy wheel. Plenty of people wrote back to state the opposite but maybe they just don't want the hassle again. Shame. |

To be quite honest if I want to watch a fireworks display, all I do is open the kitchen curtains, pull up a stool, open a nice bottle of wine, close the kitchen door, and just look down Merlin Drive, its very spectacular, on both November the fifth and New Years Eve,sorted;)

I have had a good view of fireworks until this year - the trees around my place still have lots of leaves this year which block my view - it must be global warming that is upsetting the seasons.
