used to go in there with an ex mate of mine, you'll probably know her if you're from Clayton Beechy, just think 'the biggest gob in clayton' and you'll realise who she is

it always seemed quiet when we where in there, do you know Joe Heyes by any chance?

Did it re-open then ? Noticed did say December 10th at one time, but didn't appear to be anywhere near .. still looked run down last week.

So, that would be 4 re-opened in Clayton :

Old England for Ever.
The Royal .
Forts Arms.
Volunteers.

and Wellington safe.

Wondered if anyone had been in the Forts ... think they have 'upmarketed' it and does look nice from the outside... 'course can't go in on me own.
Did hear that a certain Cllr. had some interest in this .. but only verbal, so best not to repeat.

I remember going in there when I was about 20 and was told I was too young they had a new rule where you have to be over 40 to drink there, but had been going there every week after work on a friday up until that point
