Wedding Free Zone

It's nearly upon us, having checked a couple of pubs out, one, (Railway), say's it won't be televising the wedding if there is any decent football on and the other, (last orders), says that not just they, but all the pubs in Accrington have got to show the wedding. I find the latter statement to be hard to believe but have no proof one way or the other.

So, for those of us that really don't want to watch the procedures on that day, does anyone out there know of pubs that definitely won't be broadcasting the event?

The wedding is at 11 o'clock in the morning. I've just checked the Sky Sports schedules, and there doesnt look to be any football on at that time on a Friday morning.

I'll be at a motorcycle rally in East Yorks, so a field in the middle of nowhere should do it for me!!!!!! :D

I'll find something to do in the garden or on the car - too early to start drinking anyway.

However hard we try to avoid the Wedding, it is ineviatble that we will get a glimpse at some point as the newspapers and the media is bound to be full of the event for days after.
The only way you could possibly miss it is to be marooned on some desert island for a few weeks.

Can you accommodate a stowaway???
I am not anti Royal or a republican, but the media just do the whole thing to death.

Funny that, my better half asked. All I will say, the last time I was out that way, there was nothing, absolutely nothing around...for miles.

You can always go and work for Her Maj., in the gift shop up at Balmoral.

She's making her staff work the extra Bank Holiday.

So work for her, and miss the wedding, because you'll be polishing tins of shortbread.

:D

By the time I got there it would be time to come home......on second thoughts...I couldn't get there, the buses are running a Sunday Service.
And No G....I can't drive a bus.(well, I probably could, but not legally)
