Re: favourite tipple??
Lager does it everytime for me,only the weaker stuff, not stella or anything daft like that, but when it comes to shorts, I was into vodka redbull (pint glass, double--or more vodka and loads of ice.) I realised I was getting old when I changed that for gin and tonic, that's mine for the moment.(until I have my next midlife crisis, then it's cheeky vimto.) :drunk:

Re: favourite tipple??
Just got back from the S of France and Northern Spain. Just had to have a go at Carlos Tercero (Charles the 3rd) Spanish Brandy.........my oh my..............banged mi 'ed against the wall.
I didn't realised that walls moved sideways...or hit you. Was proper poorly for a couple of days. Glad to say I'm back at mi best again!!!!!!!!! Beware....the horrors of Spanish Brandy!! |
Re: favourite tipple??
Sounds like it has a similar kick to it as Metaxa Brandy (the five star stuff) I have to admit after a couple of Brandy Sours in Cyprus the pavements have a horrible habit of moving towards your face at a rapid rate..:D

Re: favourite tipple??
Depends on where and when - red wine (not keen on white unless it's very good), real ale, even been known to drink lager, gin & tonic, single malt scotch, brandy ....
I've even got a taste for orange juice - well, you can't drink metal polish straight, you know. |
Re: favourite tipple??
