Black Horse
....Looks like a pub, but does it sell beer??
 Is this going to be a rather interesting temperance venue? or just a shadow of Wetherspoons? (The Black horse is at the end of Peel St, near the top of Warner St.) Black Horse Food Emporium note: fancy a look before anyone else? We'll be opening for the Christmas lights switch on from 4.30 this Thurs. Call in for coffee and cake! 15th November @ 07:15 BlckHrseFoodEmp @Martinteeseyoss it's 4.30 to 7.30! X

You've obviously been away far too long, Eric.
Queens pub, Church - now a doctors surgery Wellington, Church = Italian restaurant Oak Tree = Off license Hyndburn (Blackburn Rd) = Indian Takeaway Foxhill = Funeral Parlour etc, etc, etc. Rumour has it that one pub in Accy will shortly be the Kashmiri Embassy. |

I went in last Saturday and they've done it very nicely, it's a cafe and deli, I think the owner has the sausage shop/butchers in Oswaldtwistle Mill. They seemed disorganised, I picked up two bars of fancy chocolate and a gift pack of jam but nobody seemed interested in serving me, busy doing other things, so I put them back and left. I will try again though I hope they make a go of it although it's a bit out of the way of the centre.
