Dates For Xmas Meet
HAVE RUNG THE BREWERS ARMS THIS AFTERNOON FOR SOME ALTERNATIVE DATES FOR XMAS MEET.
YOU NOW HAVE 4 TO CHOOSE FROM . VEIW POLL. NO FOOD AT THIS MEET. WE NEED AT LEAST 25 TO ATTEND THIS MEET IF NOT THERE WILL BE NO- MORE MEET UPS.

I'd hope I'll be around on the Saturday, not sure what date I'll be home from Uni so the Friday is iffy.
Edit: Oh dear, its Saturday the 29th of Nov... Friday is best for me if I'm back.

the original date is better for me, i'm at a 21st at ECC on the 6th...there will be two of us coming to the meet anyway, me and Richard...so that just leaves 23 more to come Mez

Although I'd love to be there, I'm sorry I can't say for definite, as it depends if it's a good, or a bad, day.

Why all the pressure for at least 25 to turn up?
I have said it before but I don't mind saying it again - why does it matter if 5 or 25 turn up? As long as you know a few of your friends are going to the pub for a drink and a chat then what is the problem? I will not vote on this one. Whenever the meets are I turn up if I am free and don't if I am not. I do miss the monthly meets, not to see loads of people there but just the usual regulars. As I work shifts I can not often turn up to them - I do when I can though.
