most haunted live
dont know if any of you watch most haunted but found out tonight its live at pendle hill on halloween if anyone is interested theres quite a few of us going from the hope and anchor

Better make sure the wife stays at home, I wouldn't want them to mistake her for one of the witches.
 I was once told it was incorrect to say 'Pendle Hill' despite it being noted as such on maps due to the fact that 'Pendle' is a derivavtive of 'Pender's Hill' Any truth in that? Perhaps it's like saying 'TSB Bank' when the B already stands for bank. (Not that it exists any more) |

Been up Pendle at Halloween it's good fun. Just take some beer cos all the pubs used to be shut.Only fright I had was some mad farmer who told us that he would shoot us if we did'nt clear off his land. We walked up and I just hope it's not raining. Have fun!

It's not nearly as much fun now as it used to be, before the Police strarted closing pubs and roads and shepherding folk hither and yon. I can remember some spectacular halloween's up on top of Pendle. I can also remember some truly horrendous hangovers too.

I remember going up pendle on Halloween, a few pints in the wellsprings, Packed out. A great time.
