Poplar Club Centenary Celebrations

Hi all, just to let you know there will be a huge centenary celebration at the

Poplar working mens' club on wellington road, Accrington

Friday 1st July 2011

7.30pm for 8.00pm start.

£2.00 entrance fee

Live group 'Nightriders'
and comedian Jack Crabtree

It's a great little club and definitely somewhere to check out for a great but inexpensive night out. Becoming a member couldn't be easier and at an annual fee of £5 you'd save that much on your first night out with us

Throughout the weeks there are a variety of events to keep everyone happy.
From Line Dancing on Tuesday evenings to

Rock and Roll nights every other Friday.

Sunday evenings there is ballroom dancing and time to get your breath back with a couple of games of Bingo

With two full size snooker tables and a pool table there's summit to keep the guys happy if they're not into all that dancin' malarky! And don't forget the competitive drinks prices.

But remember this Friday is celebration night! The club has been around for 100 years and still going strong! Come along and join in the fun!

Who Is the Club Steward now? Only I'm fussy about the company I keep.

Not sure what hidden meaning there may be behind your question but you can be assured the club is run by the Committee members. Any dissatisfaction with the steward(ess) or any other members of staff are taken seriously and dealt with in an appropriate manner. Our current team of bar staff have been in place for several months and do an excellent job.
