What the cat is thinking

I could have sworn I heard the can opener.

Is there something I'm not getting when humans make noise with their mouths?

Why doesn't the government do something about dogs?

Hmmm ... If dogs serve humans, and humans serve cats, why can't we cats ever get these stupid dogs to do anything for us?

This looks like a good spot for a nap.

Hey! No kidding, I'm sure that's the can opener.

Would humans have built a vast and complex civilization of their own if we cats hadn't given them a reason to invent sofas and can openers in the first place?

If there's a God, how can He allow neutering?

If that really was the can opener, I'll play finicky just to let them know who's boss!

More cat thoughts:

You won't mind if I have a few bites of your dinner.

Let me out (when indoors)

Let me in (when outdoors)

Those humans would die to be able to lick themselves as I do.

Granny....no the cat on the avatar is just one of the standard ones on here.

Doug......no we don't eat whiskas, we just pretend we do......but I suspect the cat suspects and is just waiting for the right moment to 'spring' us.

Another 'cattism'.......'that couch looks ideal for claw sharpening'

Granny..... there is a post somewhere on here of monster Monty.......now he is an intelligent beast. He rings a bell on the back door when he wants to go out.......or if the food in his dish isn't to his taste.

Why've you just had a vet stick a needle in me? I didn't have flu before but thanks to that jab I have now.

PurpleLass 19-04-2005 20:50

Re: What the cat is thinking

By the way, thanks for the jab - I've left you a little present behind the TV to show my gratitude.

The ancient Egyptians had it right - I am a god!

Sashimi is obviously too good for mere humans.

when he is doing it but can get rather annoying when he is doing it at 3am in the morning because it is raining and he wants to come in. We also have a dog and believe me the cat is the boss, if the cat wants to sit infront of the fire.......he makes the dog move. He dont like cat buiscuits he will only eat dog buiscuits, and the dog will only eat cat buiscuits not dog buiscuits. My animals are weirdo's:eek:

I think I was giving my cat bad press here. I took him for his flu jab a few days ago and then the day after I found a present behind the TV. I thought he was just making me suffer because I'd made him suffer. It turns out that the reason he 'went' behind the TV was because I'd locked the cat flap in order to catch him and forgotten to open it - for two days!!!!
