No didn't watch that, it's too upsetting watched the Challenger explosion of 1985.
Isn't it strange E.T. can tug at the heart strings but, the death of seven humans can be watched without any real emotion coming forward!

Not seen E.T. for ages.
I cried buckets.
All sad films make me cry.
Mandy,short Circuit,Soldier Blue,Fluke.
These are just a few of many that have made me cry over the years.

Yes I went through a box of Kleenex this afternoon too.

Doesn't take much in a film to set me off with the weepies.

I never used to cry at any films.....but I have to admit I was a bit moist eyed when I saw ET when it first came out. I saw it at the Odeon.....many moons ago.
I cry at Madame Butterfly.....in fact I have not dared to go and see it because I weep buckets when I listen to it. Music gets to me more than films.

Carousel...maybe it is because it is music and a sad story.

Re: Why Oh Why?

I cry at tons of films.

When I was pregnant with Maddie I had a bit of a scare about 27 weeks in. I was rushed to the hospital. They gave me a quick exam and reassured me a little but they told me it was going to be half an hour to an hour before a Doctor could see me. So, they put the TV on and flicked through a few channels. Sense and Sensibility was on so I told them to leave that channel on. I also warned them that if I was crying when they came back to my room that it was not going to be anything to do with the baby situation. Sure enough, half an hour later when the Doctor came in I was in floods of tears but I swear it was just because Hugh Grant had told Emma Thompson that he wasn't married after all.

The first film that I bawled my eyes out at was Run Wild Run Free starring Mark Lester, when the lights came on in the cinema at the end of the film I felt such an idiot. Think that was in 1968. 1969.

Always love going to a weepy film and watching all the blokes in the audience when the lights come up saying to their girlfriends, 'no I'm not crying, I've just got something in my eye'.
