Oh, come on, if they got to choose there own song it was quite obvious that Leona was gonna choose a Mariah Carey song (i know it was originally Nielson but that is the style she sung it in!!!) I here lots of girls that sing like that on the karaoke in my pub every week!!! Ben was fabulous!!! That is my favourite song ever!!!! (Queen or George Micheal versions!!) and I think Ben was very, very brave to sing it like he did and he certainly pulled it off it was fantastic!!!

I said exactly the same thing. Just think if Leona wins at least we will have the charts flooded with cover versions of Mariah and Christa songs ....... Oh so much to look forward to :rolleyes:

Still, it's all been done before!
There's been far too many talented singers ruined by the tinny pop songs & overblown epic covers the record companies give them after 'winning' competitions like this.
No one cares about what happens to the contestants after the competition, it's all about telly ratings.

I think Ben was best when he did Rod Stewert his voice suits Rod well. he's sexy andd luverly but must admit I prefare Little Rays voice and he's a nice mover.
