Besides painting my Wheelie Bin, I am looking at opening a new shop in the town centre, which will compete with the  "Everything for a Quid" shops that now dominate the town centre.

However, I'm going to drive them out of business, because everything will be on sale for 10 bob (that's 50p for then that don't know)

I want to make sure my market research is right though; would everyone here be prepared to pay £1.20 return bus fare into Accy to buy 10 bobs worth of tat from my shop?

I am offering a free round the world flight for the first 50 replies I get.

I would pay the bus fare but not the flight from Italy. How's that?
What currency do you accept in your new shop? Just bobs and that old stuff or also pounds, Euros, credit cards etc?
You could do a deal with a local bus company and put on a free bus for anyone that spends over a 100 bob (probably has another name when it gets to hundred?)

Changing the subject, in Australia they have plastificated bank notes, don't get wet and dirty. Seeing as the pound is going to be in England for eternity in your view, you could write to Tony Blair and ask him to print notes like the Ozzy ones? (they don't have Kylie's bum on them though, as you may wish)!  :D

They got plastic notes on the Isle of Man, to.....I think the reason the Ozzy notes are plastic is because the Aboriginals used to use paper money for roll-ups...
