Grounded in real life: Some of these statements seemed outlandish and wrong to you, but you found yourself wondering if maybe there was a little inner geek screaming to be let out to play

and all because i think lightsabres are cool. tut tut.:D

OK,

Geek: You have to admit that you are up there in the geek category. You sometimes find yourself amazed that nobody else has found the joys inherent in the silicon chip and you understood every statement in the quiz. Still, my friend, the path to Uber Geek lies ahead of you and you haven't quite made it.

There were three Qs that I answered no to

Grounded also. Can't see why quoting Monty Python and thinking a light saber is cool (especially at night, the new ones when doing battle make wicked flashes and sounds on contatct, from what I've heard:rolleyes: ) would make one geeky!:D

Lacking in the Geek gene: You’re not a geek at all, in fact I'm not sure why you’re doing this test.

I answered no to Monty Python. Of course, if they asked me if I could quote Firesign Theatre (or, perhaps, Cheech and Chong)......

One of the more surreal experiences was the first time I heard Firesign Theatre. Woke up in the middle of the night and tuned the radio on, right in the middle of the "Porgy and Mudhead" routine. Ruined a perfectly good night's sleep, but laughed pretty much until dawn.

Gonna have to get out the old turntable and the vinyl. Haven't listened to them in years!

Re: Geek Test

Not a bad hobbit name:

Ragrin 'Goldfather' Topleaf , Mayor of Michel Delving

Goldfather? Maybe like a Polish godfather, the type who makes you an offer you can't understand?
