This week. The death of a close family friend and the death of my friend and former employer last night. The indifference of some people who know nothing and the bloody traffic lights in Blackburn today. There’s also the fact that I am still can’t pee after having the indignity of having what felt like a drain pipe painfully rammed up my you know what, not to mention having my prostrate felt without the aid of KY, I know the NHS are facing difficult times but bloody hell. Wound up? Yeah, life’s a bitch.

Not spoken to a soul all day - if it wasnt for chatting on here I would be classified as a hermit.
Better weather forecast for Tuesday - might even make a bus trip to the coast.

I am bloody furious... been to pick my son and his mates up from a party in the middle of darkest nowhere (ok balderstone) down a million country lanes and not knowing where I was going !!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally found it by pure luck, my son actually managed to answer his mobile to direct me to the exact house...4 lads get into car..then I have to reverse into someones rather grand driveway to turn round, was that worried that i would reverse into the posh double gates in the pitch black so was looking over my left shoulder...didn't spot the wall on the right side and now have a slightly caved in drivers door... and half the paintwork missing!!!:(:o

Told the lads that it was the most expensive taxi they have ever caught at £50 each, for a moment I think they believed me!!!!!!!!

tell me about it, but to be honest it wasn't really their fault, I was just so flustered as I had spent half an hour in the pitch black looking for this damned place and then I was blocking the road for other party leavers as I was trying to turn the car on a one road track... what an expensive nightmare :(

I was quite ok about it after a minute or two especially since I spent the rest of the journey home dropping off his mates taking the mickey out of him trying to have a conversation without slurring his words!! And instead of getting mad at me he called me cool and understanding

I've haven't had a drink mum ...honest ...ok maybe one or two :p

Re: what wound you up today?

Got shot(actually hit me) by two kids with an air rifle who were camping out on my local park. I was walking the hound at the time and thankfully they didn't shoot at her and they caused me no injury, other than to totally get my back up/lose my temper/bring my blood to the boil.
What the hell are the parents doing by :

a ) allowing their kids to own/posess one of these air rifles ( I always thought you had to have a license.)
b ) allowing their kids to camp in a park (frequented by all sorts of non entities) overnight unsupervised.

And as a footnote, the little gits gave me a load of lip after challenging them after shooting me, gave a local " Community Officer" a load of lip when they were challenged and then cleared off and left a pile of rubbish where they were camping.
When I was younger (it may be thirty years ago!) morals and virtues were taught as a matter of course. If we stepped out of line to any elder, we'd expect a good clip round the earhole or a kick up the arse. I had to stop myself from administering the same retribution or it would have been me on a charge!!:(:(:(
