Yes Bruce is back this series along with Tess Daley and Claudia Winklemann doing the spin off: It Takes Two on BBC2. The American version starts on UKTV Gold next Friday night, heres who's dancing on that:

Its not starting properly tonight, its just a preview episode, showing all the training and backstage stuff up to now.

I watched the American one last night. It was on for 3 hours and was brilliant. Although I do think the professional dancers on our version are better. The girl who got the top score, Sabrina (26 out of 30) was absolutely phenomenal!

I don't find it sad, I used to tape it. The show is highly entertaining IMHO watching how the contestants progress is great. Don't watch X Factor till it gets near the finals, to many idiots who can't sing but think they can again IMHO:D

Its the idiots that I like watching Bernie, I laugh and my 5year old cries when they cry:D I'm constantly telling her that they shouldn't apply if they cant sing, do like watching the dancing though, would love to have a go.

Oh I love winter TV...............

ATM we have Saturday night take away, which tickles me no end. Ant and Dec are just very very funny!!

Then we have X factor.....which......has been quite a let down up to yet, but hey ho it could change!!

Then we have come dancing!! which I enjoy!!

Then in November we " I'm a celeb get me out of here" which I love watching too!!

I really enjoy winter t.v :D

And yes it aint winter yet!! but my Christ it feels like it lol

I thought the snooker player was suprisingly light on his feet for a man of his size. Got to agree the women did look good tonight but don't forget it must take a lot of the pressure off not having to do individual dances. Next week will be crunch time for them

You didn't miss much. They've stretched the suspense of who is going to make the live finals over two night. You can catch the results, and I'm sure a reprise of tonight's show, at 6.45 pm tomorrow evening.

I only watched it tonight because there was no X Factor and there was no way I was going to watch the Rugby. :D

The women were much better than the men.

Alysha was amazing, and so was Penny Lancaster, who looked really good, even though she did remind me a little of Margo from the Good Life.:D

Arlene and Craig were on It Takes Two tonight and thouugh they get the final say they both reckoned Kate should have gone. We will see how it goes but I hope people just don't vote for the person they like rather than voting for the best dancer.

Thats why its good that the judges choose from the final 2. It will stop it from being a popularity contest. Kate got the sympathy vote no doubt about it. I dont think Kelly was all that good she didnt really dance, it was all just turning and posing. I do want her to prove me wrong though!

I think the new set up is a con.

I think it's all filmed on Saturday. You can tell because the people in the audience are wearing the same clothes on the Sunday results show, as they did on Saturday. Plus you can only vote until 9pm on the Saturday evening.

Saying that, I'm off to watch it now, as I was having tea at the Vicarage, when it was on earlier, and had to tape it.:D

It is filmed on a Saturday, they said this at the start of the series and the BBC have never said it is live. Its billed as "as live"

As for tonights result, I think Kate should go, but i'm quite glad that Gabby went because she was so big headed and thought she was amazing. She would have walked over anyone to win, even her own husband. Theres nothing wrong with being competitive, but she took it to a new level!

Agreed. Alesha was amazing. She oozes elegance and grace from every pore.

I though Kelly Brook was also very good, but my other favourite tonight was Letitia Dean. She really upped her performance, and did a brilliant Paso.

Yep think Letitia has managed to conquer her nerves. She was getting worked up about it before but now she is more relaxed her dancing has improved dramatically.

What does need commenting on is the costumes. They are fantastic. When you think they are all made to measure each week, that's some job.

Years ago ('87) I used to do the costumes for Marti Caine, and some of the acts on New Faces. She was a pleasure to dress, but the contestants were a nightmare. They'd change their mind about what they wanted just before the shows. Worse job I ever had.

For one group, I made floor length silk coats, worn over little black dresses. They looked great, and were exactly as had been agreed when they were designed. The night before the final they decided they wanted short cropped jackets, which looked awful, and I was up all night. I wasn't a happy bunny.:D

Alesha and Matthew scored the top mark of the series so far with a 9-10-9-10 for their waltz.

Kelly Brook and Brendan Cole did a pretty amazing Jive too.

Usual suspects were bottom, Penny and John.
