Willow I completely agree with you on the uniform issue as it has cropped up many times, from what I can gather if an inspector gets on the bus and a child does not have this saver card but yet has paid half fare the driver can actually be disciplined..so maybe that is why they are being so strict about it. I think the £2 is not unreasonable as it only really covers the cost of the pass and paperwork I presume |

I can understand it when it comes to pensioners half fares and bus passes because it's hard to tell with some people. They don't look old enough to be entitled to a pensioners pass. But a child in school uniform is obviously a school age child. I can understand it if they have those prepaid passes or something that they need to show that to avoid paying for a ticket. |

I have a disabled rail pass and all it has on it is my name, issued at , date valid to and number of the rail pass. No photo, birthdate, address. Any female could use this instead of me.
