White Rabbits everyone....i want to have a go at cooking a Goose this christmas, never ever tried it, is it different from cooking chicken or turkey and any ideas on what it tastes like?

Blazey take no notice of BB, rabbit is good scran, had many a rabbit stew/ n pie when young, all the butchers used to sell em, think it was the mixamtosis that put a stop to that.:confused:

My dad used to catch rabbits when food was rationed ---- didn't like them ---like tough old hens (ate them too)

Oooh White Rabbits everybody. Almost forgot it this month.
Rabbit stew is much nicer than roast rabbit. You need to have a very lean chubby young rabbit for roasting otherwisse they can be quite tough. I love rabbit stew. If you get one from the butcher and he cracks the bones for you (Why do they do that?) do be careful when you eat it as you could get splinters. |
