I just wanted clarification for the subsequent posters. Perhaps those who have already posted might give their views as to whether they would actually purchase the items mentioned for a male child.

If my lads wanted toys I considered girly, or my girls decided they wanted a boy toy, I think I would probably make sure they wanted the item instead of something aimed at thier own gender, but if they wanted that item, they would have it. (I would probably batter my eldest son if he asked for a barbie, he is 26 lol)

I have no hang ups, the question is do you? You seem to be questioning me as if you expect me to say no way.

whats "action Man " if not a male dolly. same with star wars characters etc that we had as kids

my son played with a doll and pram when he was little he was always running off with his sisters pram he is 22 years old now with a wife and two daughters.
