I allowed a bunch of local kids to shoot a video in my steel fabrication shop , , did it for free to help them try to make it in the music business , the guys in the shop thought they were a bunch of useless layabout hippy punks , ......a different story when their kids pointed out they were in a Green Day video on MTV.

Once had the extreme privelidge of managing one of the corporate boxes at Rovers for a season for the comopany I worked for back then. Got to meet most of the players, Graeme Souness, Mark Hughes and best of all, Simon Garner :):) (founder of the famous Blackburn Rovers Flying Club!).

Was stood once in Mitton Fold and Alan Shearer came in and ordered a pint (it was some sort of testamonial game 3 years back and they were all staying there) - his body guard was 10 whole men!

I cant believe you met David Cameron, I am soooo jealous! Is he as sexy in real life?! The sex symbol of politics :o I love him!

On the Rovers theme, Bryan Douglas popped round to see me at home about five years ago when I came out of hospital after being in four weeks, didn't half cheer me up, Duggie was my boyhood hero when he played for Rovers in the fiftes and sixties, and I have a photo on my wall to remember the occasion

Went to West Ham on Boxing Day 1963, got tickets of Fred Pickering, Remember seeing Geoff Hurst, John Sissons, and Bobby Moore outside the ground before the match. Went with the supporters club, set of at 12 midnight from Blackburn boulevard, outside the Star and Garter, was a great day out, especially seeing we won 8-2
