A Question especially for MICK

As mick, less and benipete have lead my sweetie pie astray in the broadway pub, i have a question for you mick ..... whats this about 2 burnt fingers and a microwave? Now spug wont tell me anymore ..... he just said that you told him to tell me about the absinthe .... maybe you should keep it - might stop you burning your fingers!!!:p:p:p

Re: A Question especially for MICK

Sorry shillelagh i am totally confused over this thread:confused:
Yes i did a roast chicken for Sunday dinner and burnt my hands on the handles of the roasting tin and now have a couple of small blisters but i have not got a clue about the microwave:confused:i did not use ours at all Sunday.
all the meat, veg, roast potatoes where made from fresh nothing requiring a microwave
so i think spuggie j must have had too much to drink (2 pints) and told you wrong or got a bit mixed up :D

And by the way it was Spuggie that was leading us astray he bought a round of drinks:drink::drink::drink:
it could have just been shock at the cheap prices
Nice one Spuggie j good to see you again.

Re: A Question especially for MICK

he now admits that it was less burning his fingers with the microwave ......... Wish he'd get his story straight ......... but it was right someone forgetting to use something to hold onto the chicken taking it out of the oven ........

Tell you - you lead him astray .... he comes back with half a story ....... he's hopeless!!!!

Not my fault he's been getting plenty of kip while he's down

Oh dear sorry jen your wrong again:D
I did have a folded towel on both handles that's why i thought it was safe( It was a new roasting tray) but the handles being thin and the weight of the chicken pressing down on the towels the heat came right through and it was a case of burnt fingers or no Sunday dinner .:D (i got a lovely Sunday dinner) :D

Typical woman, supposed to be at home domesticating while her bloke has a quiet chat with his mates then starts complaining :D

You can get oven gloves with your Nescafe bean points
(Looks like they are needed more than the towelling robe)
