She left of her own accord as she didn't like comments in a thread posted by Enigmaman
http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...oup-43392.html
and Garinda's response

Thank you Margaret for clearing that up, I didnt know willow had left, I assumed she was in the caravan again, I hope willow returns, and quickly, I know a little of willows religious beliefs, and imo, she never forced them on anybody, there was one other in that thread who should have left rather than willow in my opinion.

This was her farewell -
"By all means start a group of people who choose not to believe in God and call it whatever you like but please do not use it to ridicule and demean those of us who do believe and to whom the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ means more than anything you could possibly imagine.

I accept and defend the right of anyone to choose not to believe in anything but surely we who do believe have just as much right.

I think this is my cue to leave AccyWeb.

Goodbye. It's been nice knowing some of you."

I thought she'd posted after that though?

As a forum we'll all never see eye to eye on lots of things, I'm glad to say. It would be a boring old world if we did.

I hope my reaction, to what I saw as being preached at by the member who started the other group, and who seemed to be on a mission to convert the whole world to his particular religion, had nothing to do with her leaving.

One of my earliest posts in that particular thread mentioned members (meaning her) who I know hold their faith very close to them, yet never preaches to others, and only ever mention it if it's relevant to a particular thread.

When I get too silly on here Willow and Margaret Pilkington act as my conscience. Nothing to do with religion, but because they are good people, and I care what they think.

If I have caused offence Willow, I apologise. It was certainly never my intention.

Besides if you don't return I'll soon be the saddo with the most posts...and we don't want that, do we?:D

Re: WillowTheWhisp

Far be it from me to criticise the mods, but I did report that thread by Enigmaman before anyone had posted anything, but the only mod on at the time was Andrew who was very new at the job.
It's just a pity that it developed into what it did and led to Willows departure

PS I got bad karma when I posted 'draw the line' and I really think Roy gave it me anonymously
