Did You Read The Rules ?

Evolving from another thread I'm wondering how many people actually read the rules of Accyweb BEFORE joining.

Disclaimer - When you join, if it says have you read the rules and agree to abide by them, and then in this poll admit you didn't read them, don't blame me if you get banned for breaking the rules :D ( My name will be first on the list :hidewall: )

Back to Poland so you'll have to do your own plumbing until the economic downturn is over!

well I really cannot contribute unless there is a poll...I mean one that states the way you have voted so that 6 weeks later some div from Ossie can trawl through masses of members posts and say..."you voted this way in such a poll 6 weeks ago".. I mean it just would not be the same. :D

Might be worth you sending your lads over there if you have to tighten your belt, better than laying someone off eh?

Re: Did You Read The Rules ?

Thankfully I have a quite astonishing memory.

One glance at the forums rules was all that was needed for them to lodge in my brain.

It also comes in terribley handy when giving evidence that someone has contradicted themselves on the forum. My instant recall can save hours searching out evidence in old threads.

I keep a tally in my head, of who said what and where, and how many times someone has made a complete numpty of themselves.

It's a blessing from above.:):D

I hate to break it to you, but I passed over years ago.

Though the charges of witchcraft are under investigation, and I'm considering an appeal.

I'll pass on the offer to be your ghost writer though.

I'm the living dead, not the desperate dead.;)

Re: Did You Read The Rules ?

When the site first started there were no rules as such, so people like for example Kipax, Sparkologist, Mick, myself and several others can honestly say no we didn't read the rules.

This is about the third set of rules since the site began.
The first lot short and sweet disappeared when the site had an update.
The second was cobbled together by Mick and a few others.
The third were put on site after Roy consulted a Solicitor for a general set of rules. this set has grown out of all recognition and poor old Mick seems to have a permanent job just trying to keep them up to date.
