An update on spug ..... monday night he had another seizure, fit whatever you want to call them, this morning he had to go to the hospital to see a consultant. Because he had that one last night they've now called it late onset epilepsy .... so thats both of us with it. Hes been rough today and slept most of it when he came home from the hospital.

Busman told me about this last night and I just wanted to pop on and say that I'm sorry to hear you had such a nasty experience on the train Spuggie but also such a lovely one when you left the hospital and they took such good care of you back to Edinburgh. Tough that it turned out not to be just a one-offthough but good that your doctors are on the ball and getting it sorted out quickly. I suppose in a way that might be an advantage of having had the first seizure on the train and not somewhere where you were on your own and nobody knew what had happened. Hopefully you'll be on medication that will keep it under control.

Jen, I didn't know epilepsy was contageous ;) He can at least benefit from your wisdom knowledge and experience of the subject though. Take care both of you.

I am doing fine and have now got some pills for it after a visit to my GP yesterday. There will be a few lifestyle changes I have to make but that I can live with but the best lifestyle change of all is a FREE BUS PASS for anywere in Scotland. :D Have the joys of the occupational therapist at work sometime next week as there will be some does n donts for me as well as the bosses.

I do have one worry though that if I drop in Grangemouth I will find my funds I carry pillfered before I recover.
