The Snug.

Welcome to the Accrington Web Snug.

A place in which people can have a little moan, and grumble, about the state of the world today.

Drinks are charged at 'the good old day's' prices.

Spitting is allowed, providing the spittoon is used.

Swearing isn't permitted, as ladies are allowed in, if they're of reputable character.

A jar is kept behind the bar to collect fines for those whose mouth runs away with them.

Ashtrays are provided on the bar, and at the tables.

The barman's a bit Mutt and Jeff, so feel free to bend his ear, just don't expect much banter back.

Lock ins by request.

I expect this place to be packed out, with standing room only some nights.

Oh, and there's free newspapers on the rack by the door, but only the Daily Mail, at present.

Smoking is allowed in the Snug.

There isn't a piano, as people wouldn't be able to hear themselves moan.

The only thing here that's free and easy, collects glasses at the weekend.

Was going to ask for a lager, but as there are no flights at the moment, i will go without. Thanks anyway :cool:

Like I say, it's part of my community service, as we know you couldn't afford me, if forced to pay what I'm worth.
